Not as many people this year as it was unadvertised. The people who showed up are basically the people who come regularly every year. :)

A holiday treat for everyone!
The classic Charlie Brown Christmas is given a twist when it is edited and voiced by the cast of the comedy "Scrubs". (Which is a great show, by the way...)
Full of one-liners, zingers, and some off-color humor, this was never aired on network television, but most likely shown internally as a gift to the cast and crew of Scrubs. Luckily, someone decided to leak this out to the public. :)
So Merry Christmas, everyone! Import.flv (24.2 MB)

With Christmas a little over 2 weeks away, I thought I'd try and get everyone into a holiday mood. The Mythbusters is one of the most popular shows on the Discovery Channel. Each episode is dedicated to proving or disproving any type of myth using the scientific method. I love this show, because it's just a big excuse to play around and prove/disprove (mostly) useless things. In this clip, they decide to forgo the usual myth debunking, and decide to make a Christmas-themed Rube Goldberg device. For those unfamiliar with Rube Goldberg devices, they are "exceedingly complex devices that perform simple tasks in very indirect and convoluted ways" (taken from a Wikipedia entry). So enjoy this clip from the Mythbusters, and happy holidays! :) View this clip on YouTube. Import.flv (9.6 MB)
I know that it's end of the Christmas season as I post this, but this is just too cool to pass up. A homeowner somewhere in the States who went above and beyond just stringing blinking lights for the holidays. Turns out that the homeowner is huge computer geek who had a lot of time (and money) on his hands to put up a complicated array of lights (16,000 total!) for a homebrewed light show. Every night, he'd pipe in a musical piece, and the a perfectly choreographed light show would commence. Word spread around, and soon people would drive by and park just to watch the light show. It got so popular that the police eventually asked the homeowner to stop doing the light show because it was causing too much traffic! This video has been making the rounds around the Internet, and even was featured on CBS news in the States! Read about it here. Happy New Year and Happy Three Kings, everyone! :) To download and view the movie, right-click the image below and choose "Save Link As..." or "Save Target As..." 4.wmv (7.1 MB)
