<title>Dinner with the Gang</title>
<description>January 3, 2008

Dinner in Milky Way Cafe on Pasay Rd. A little get-together since Tara and Deo were in Manila at the same time in 10 years. Unfortunately, Deo had to back out the last minute.

Guess we&#x27;ll all have to be together in the wedding na lang. :)

Folks present: Sammy, Yas, Penny, Anton, Mara, Kirby, Tara, Alvaro, Kian (Tara &#x26; Alvaro&#x27;s son), Andrea, Chitoboy, Nick (Andrea&#x27;s son), and Ton-ton.

Yummy dinner prepared by Sonja and her best friend Nini for Deo&#x27;s family.

Wasn&#x27;t able to get much food shots, as the food was wiped out in 5 seconds by the hungry hordes of the Perez clan. Instead, got a lot of shots of my inaanak, Sasha. :)

<title>Mythbusters Ask A Ninja</title>
<description>As I&#x27;ve posted before, I love the Discovery Channel&#x27;s show, &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.discovery.com/mythbusters&#x22;&#x3E;Mythbusters&#x3C;/a&#x3E;. If you aren&#x27;t familiar with it, it&#x27;s basically a show that scientifically debunks urban myths.

Sometime in April 2007, the Mythbuster crew shot an episode that deals with ninja myths that you often see in movies. As an added bit of fun, they invited the &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.askaninja.com&#x22;&#x3E;Ask a Ninja&#x3C;/a&#x3E; ninja to show up and give his two cents worth.

What is &#x22;Ask a Ninja&#x22;? It&#x27;s a cult-hit comedy video podcast that features a Ninja that will answer any question under the sun, no matter how mundane or strange. And chances are, the ninja&#x27;s answers are just as strange, if not more so.

See what happens when the two shows collide...

-------------------------------------------------------

The Ask a Ninja ninja tells the Mythbusters what they should really know about ninjas. He is also convinced Jamie is a robot.

<title>A Fair(y) Use Tale</title>
<description>This is an interesting video made by a college professor explaining US Copyright Law, Fair Use and Intellectual Property. The twist is he made it using clips from Disney animated movies. :)

Synopsis:Professor Eric Faden of Bucknell University provides this humorous, yet informative, review of copyright principles delivered through the words of the very folks we can thank for nearly endless copyright terms.***Description taken from website***Video Found at &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://cyberlaw.stanford.edu/documentary-film-program/film/a-fair-y-use-tale&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=http://cyberlaw.stanford.edu/documentary-film-program/film/a-fair-y-use-tale&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=http://cyberlaw.stanford.edu/documentary-film-program/film/a-fair-y-use-tale&#x3E;http://cyberlaw.stanford.edu/documentary-film-program/film/a-fair-y-use-tale&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;

<title>A Very Special Gift</title>
<description>Another brilliant video from the cast of Saturday Night Live.

In this clip, Adam Samberg and guest host Justin Timberlake pay homage to the R&#x26;B love song genre. They come up with a song about the perfect gift for Christmas. But as they claim in their video, this gift is perfect for any occasion, the whole year round. :)

<title>Hardcore Takeshi&#x27;s Castle: Ninja Warrior</title>
<description>Back in the day, everyone was enthralled by a Japanese game show called &#x22;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takeshi&#x27;s_Castle&#x22;&#x3E;Takeshi&#x27;s Castle&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x22;. It was basically a wacky obstacle course with mazes, rubber-suit monsters, and ingenious traps designed to eliminate hundreds of contestants. Eventually, the contestants would be whittled down to a handful who would storm Takeshi&#x27;s Castle for the grand prize.

The show was undoubtedly Japanese, and that tradition apparently still continues today. &#x22;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.g4tv.com/ninjawarrior/index.html&#x22;&#x3E;Ninja Warrior&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x22; basically pits hundreds of contestants to overcome obstacles that a ninja would supposedly do. But whereas Takeshi&#x27;s Castle was open to anyone, Ninja Warrior requires contestants be physically fit with a great sense of balance for the extreme challenges.

This video highlights Nagano Makoto, one of only 2 people to finish the entire Ninja Warrior course. Watching him move is like watching a live video game, like &#x22;Prince of Persia&#x22;.

This will now bring up the question: who&#x27;s more &#x3C;i&#x3E;angas&#x3C;/i&#x3E; -- a ninja or a Spartan?
